Design Process & Expectations
Initial Consultation
Initial Meeting:
○ Our first meeting is to go over all areas of your house you want/need help
with. We will throw out ideas, as well as answer any questions about our
process.
Questionnaire:
○ We will ask you to answer a questionnaire about your project. Added pictures or Pinterest boards with images and pieces that represent your style and what you are looking to accomplish in your space will help even more.
Budget:
○ After the initial consultation we will follow up with an estimated budget
for the project.
Timeline:
○ Whether you have 3 weeks or 1 year, we can make a design package that fits you. This is vital to our process and something we decide early in the process.
Contract signed & Retainer paid:
○ We request a retainer for every project to cover the costs of the beginning of
the project. We will apply the retainer to the first billed invoice. The
project will not begin without a signed contract or retainer payment.
Design Phase
Measurements & Inspiration Boards:
○ We may need to come to your home to take any measurements as well as email you
with a design board of inspiration to make sure we have a very clear understanding of your style.
Finish Selections Meeting (Remodels or new builds only):
○ We will meet at various stores to choose finishes (tile, flooring, slabs, etc) and get samples to bring home.
Proposal Phase
Sourcing & Proposals:
○ We will begin sourcing products (lighting, furniture, etc) and send you
proposals for each room. We ask that you approve the pieces you like best
and decline any you don’t. If you would like to see additional options, you
may email/call/text us.
Invoicing:
○ Once pieces are approved, we will send you an invoice for those items. Your
invoice will include taxes and shipping. We may need to invoice for certain
pieces once they are shipped to ensure the costs are accurate.
Purchasing Phase
Purchasing:
○ We will place all orders for all approved selections. All custom pieces are not returnable and final sale once the order is placed.
NOTE: A 10% fee will be applied to all products
Shipping & Delivery:
○ We will alert you of estimated delivery dates. Client is responsible for
acceptance of all items.
Install PHASE
Installation:
○ We will book a day for the final install of all accessories and final touches.
○ We strive to give our clients that "HGTV" experience and ask that you book a date day to make the reveal that much better!
Final Invoice:
○ Due on receipt.
